2009 Board Nominations
The North Texas GLBT Chamber is now seeking nomination for volunteers to serve on its 2009 - 2010 Board of Directors. In October of each year the Chamber Membership elects volunteer members to serve on the board for a two-year term.
Nomination Process and Application Form are available on the Chamber website. Click on the About Us tab for links to these documents. Applications will be accepted through Friday, June 20, 2008. The board’s Nominating Committee will review all applications.
Service on the Chamber’s Board of Directors requires both a personal and financial commitment. In addition to attending the Board’s monthly meetings Board Members are expected to attend the annual planning retreat in November. Board members must also serve on at least one committee, attend a majority of the Chamber’s events and maintain their membership in good standing.
